The post below is excerpted from a recent email sent by Harry Holcombe to Peddie students. This year's musical Guys and Dolls is Harry's last musical at Peddie. We hope this post strikes a chord for any of our readers who were fortunate enough to interact with Harry during their Peddie years.

Dear Peddie School.....I have been here for 45 years and ''Guys and Dolls'' was the FIRST musical I directed....in 1970 and it's the LAST musical I've been connected with because of my impending retirement this spring.

This production, directed by the incredible Elizabeth Sherman is a true high school classic! It is one of the biggest, brightest and most delightful shows I've had the pleasure and honor to work on.

Show starts right at 7:30pm and is over by 10:00pm or a little after.
1. The orchestra is pure Broadway. It has a remarkable sound......and oh those drums.....who is that wicked, wild, crazy drummer??!!
2. The cast is pure gold......starring the ever brilliant Devon Nir, Zoe Gilbert, Nate Tempro and Dan Breland.....they are supported by an incredibly talented Remi Levinson, Granger Whitelaw and a super-talented group of singing, dancing actors of the first calibre.
3. The choreography is truly the best Candace Clough has ever done. She is at the top of her game. The Crapshooters ballet will BLOW......YOU.....AWAY!!!!! I have seen a heck of a lot of high school productions in my lifetime but the dancing in this one is some of the best!!
4. The scenery and lighting and costumes are pure Broadway. I am sooo impressed with our designers. Congratulations to Ms. Sherman and Marisa Green for their professionalism from top to bottom.

ENJOY THE SHOW FOLKS. YOU'LL HAVE A WICKEDLY GREAT TIME WATCHING ONE OF THE GREAT CLASSIC BROADWAY MUSICALS OF ALL TIME!!!!!
