Swim, and be free! Trout in the classroom program.

Recently, science teacher Kevin Brown and Jake Calvitti '13 took this year's trout crop (from the Trout in the Classroom program) to the Toms River in Jackson for release. Brown says, "Last year was our first year with the program and we were only able to release one fish. This year we were more successful - with approximately 45 fish raised from eggs (received in October) to fingerlings." Brown's students raised the trout in his classroom, in a 45 gallon tank that they kept at about 60 degrees.
