Over spring break, students and faculty chaperones traveled to Shanghai to visit Peddie's sister school, EFZ. Each student will enjoy a homestay experience with a fellow EFZ student, participate in a host of group activities and work on an independent project in conjunction with an EFZ student partner.
We have done a whole lot of that this trip, and that’s what I remember most about Wednesday (as you can see from my photos).
I was feeling ill in the morning, so I had to miss calligraphy and the second day of kung fu, but I was fortunate enough to be able to attend our tour at Microport and learn about innovative medical technology that I didn’t know much about. The tour and the Q & A session seemed too short!
Afterwards, we went back to EFZ to teach some lessons on various things which was an awesome experience. This also contributed to my personal drowsiness, as I spent an hour teaching EFZ students how to play lacrosse and it was awesome. It was cold and windy, but that didn’t stop us from running around and tiring ourselves out even more!
